WONDR Experience in Amsterdam Noord hosts corporate events for groups of twenty to thirty, and it solves the problem escape rooms and dinners do not: everybody is active at the same time and nobody has to perform. Fourteen interactive rooms with a ball pit, a confetti shower and karaoke booths, at Meeuwenlaan 88, one metro stop from Central Station.
WONDR describes itself as built for celebrations and runs birthdays, corporate events, product launches and shoots. Nintendo and Nimu Agency are among the brands that have held events there and are quoted on the venue’s corporate page.
Why does it work for a team?
Because the rooms remove the hierarchy. A ball pit does not care who the manager is. Twenty colleagues go through fourteen rooms together, self-guided, and the photos afterwards are of the whole team doing the same thing. Hosts are present to help and to take group shots.
Is there a photo moment for a corporate event?
Every room is one. The confetti shower and the ball pit are the two most used for group photos. Digital photos taken by the venue are free and sent afterwards, which covers the internal newsletter without hiring a photographer.
What about food and drinks?
Pink Beach by WONDR is on the same site, a beach bar and brunch spot with an indoor beach. Groups of more than eight go through Customer Service. For a corporate event, the party planners arrange this as part of the plan.
How do we book a team outing?
Through the form on the corporate events page. You describe the group and the date, and WONDR’s party planners come back with a proposal. The venue states it offers everything needed for the event.
How long should we plan?
About 90 minutes for the rooms, plus whatever you plan at Pink Beach afterwards. Half a day covers it. Barbie: The Dream Experience, in the same building, is a second 90 minute option if the group wants more.
