Pink Beach by WONDR is a beach bar and brunch spot with an indoor beach, in Amsterdam Noord at Meeuwenlaan 88. It is a restaurant, not a swimming beach. And yes, you can go without a ticket for WONDR Experience: it has its own booking.
It is on the same site as WONDR Experience and Barbie: The Dream Experience, one metro stop from Central Station, and most of the area is covered, which is why it works in Amsterdam weather.
What is Pink Beach exactly?
A pink indoor beach with sand, tables and a kitchen. You eat and drink there. You do not swim. It is designed as a place to spend an afternoon or an early evening, with a brunch and bar menu.
Can I visit Pink Beach without visiting WONDR?
Yes. Pink Beach has its own ticket and its own reservation system. You do not need to enter WONDR Experience to eat at Pink Beach. Many people do both, but they are separate.
What are the opening hours?
Monday to Thursday 11:00 to 20:00. Friday 11:00 to 20:30. Saturday 10:00 to 20:30. Sunday 10:00 to 20:00. The kitchen closes at 18:30 from Monday to Thursday and on Sunday, and at 19:00 on Friday and Saturday.
How do reservations work?
Tables are booked online and held for an hour and a half, which can usually be extended depending on availability. Groups of more than eight people book through Customer Service rather than the online form. In extreme weather, reservations can be cancelled.
What is on the menu?
A brunch and bar menu with gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and halal options. The full menu is published by the venue.
Does it work with children?
Yes. It is on the same site as WONDR, which is built for all ages, and it is the natural place for a family meal after the rooms. There is stroller storage and lockers at the WONDR entrance.
Practical details
Card payment only, cash is not accepted. Metro from Central Station one stop to Noorderpark, then five minutes on foot to Meeuwenlaan 88. Parking in the neighbourhood averages €1.60 per hour.
