WONDR Experience in Amsterdam Noord runs children’s birthday packages that include the tickets, the decorations, the cake and a reserved table, so the parent organising it does not have to bring anything. The venue is fourteen interactive rooms with a ball pit, a marshmallow pool and the SpongeBob Special, at Meeuwenlaan 88, one metro stop from Central Station.
For a group of eight children around nine years old, this is the age the rooms are made for. Below are the packages as published by WONDR, with the prices and conditions they state.
What does the Wednesday’s Birthday package include?
Tickets to WONDR Experience for every guest. Birthday decorations including balloons and hats for all guests. A birthday cake for ten to twelve people and unlimited lemonade. After the rooms, a reserved and decorated table in the Galaxy Café for cake and presents.
Duration is two hours. Price is €27.50 per person for six to nine people, or €25.00 per person for ten to twelve people. It runs on Wednesdays between 10:00 and 16:00. Details on the Wednesday’s Birthday page.
What age does it work for?
The kids birthday package is for children from age four and up. For a party of under-18s, WONDR asks that two parents join. Around eight to eleven is the age where the ball pit, the marshmallow pool and the SpongeBob rooms land hardest.
Are there other options?

Do we need to bring a cake?
No. The cake is part of the package. WONDR states there is no need to bring your own.
How do parents get everyone there?
Metro from Central Station one stop to Noorderpark, then a five minute walk to Meeuwenlaan 88. By car, parking in the neighbourhood averages €1.60 per hour. There is free stroller storage and there are lockers at the entrance.
