About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of our F&B operations at Pink Beach, an all-day brunch outdoor cafe that transforms into a vibrant event venue in the evening, located just one metro stop away from Central Station in Amsterdam.

As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, while effectively forecasting, planning, and managing F&B orders, staff, and finances.

Your primary objective will be to maximize sales and revenue by consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations, fostering employee engagement, and maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

By implementing innovative strategies and maintaining high standards, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Pink Beach success and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
  • Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures
  • Team Leadership: Assist in training and motivating staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold Pink Beach’s standards.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive customer relationships, addressing concerns and feedback promptly.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory, order supplies, and optimize costs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure food and beverage quality meets Pink Beach’s high standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.


  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing a restaurant or beach bar and meeting financial targets.

  • Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field

  • HACCP diploma

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices

  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Ability to work from April 1st to August 31st.
