Where is the ball pit for adults in Amsterdam?

The ball pit your friend mentioned is at WONDR Experience in Amsterdam Noord. WONDR describes it as the largest ball pit in Europe, and it is built for adults: it is one of fourteen interactive rooms at Meeuwenlaan 88, one metro stop from Central Station.

You do not need a child with you. WONDR was made for adults of all ages, and the ball pit is the room adults talk about most afterwards.

Is the ball pit really for adults?

Yes. It is sized for adults to sink into, not for toddlers to sit in. Children are welcome at WONDR accompanied by an adult, but the room was not designed down to them. Adults on a city break, hen parties and team outings use it as much as families do.

What else is in the same building?

Thirteen other rooms: a marshmallow pool, a confetti shower, glitter karaoke booths, a kaleidoscope of lights, a pink inflatable castle, and the SpongeBob Special, which is included with every regular ticket. The route between them is self-guided and takes about 90 minutes. Hosts are in the rooms and will take your photo in the ball pit if you ask.

Can I take photos in the ball pit?

Yes, and it is the most photographed room in the building. Digital photos taken by the venue are free and sent to you afterwards. Your own phone is welcome.

Do I need to book?

Tickets are sold online and at the door. Online is €2 cheaper per ticket. There is no separate ticket for the ball pit; it is part of the regular WONDR visit.

How do I get there?

Metro from Central Station one stop to Noorderpark, then a five minute walk to Meeuwenlaan 88. Parking nearby averages €1.60 per hour.
